Constant by Esther Marie

You are the constant in the chaos

When the world around me sways

You are the Author of my story

The light that guides my way

You are the Refuge where I run,

The Shadow where I hide

You are my Strength and Anchor

In the changing tides

You are my Protection in the storm,

Where Your grace abounds

And when I start to stumble,

You lead me to solid ground

You are beautiful and worthy

Holy and just

You have called me Your child

Though I am merely dust

With my whole heart, I’ll praise You

With my soul, I’ll bow down

As I stand in Your presence, I surrender now

My name is Esther Gonzales, I am a poet, writer, journalist, and Sunday school teacher from New Jersey. I have always loved writing ever since I can remember. I believe everyone has a story to tell and if we look close enough, we will see God's love and grace are woven throughout each of our lives. Through my writing, I hope to give others a glimpse of who God is by sharing all the ways He has been there for me.
