Let's Make our Beds in Love that Never Ends by John Chinaka Onyeche

On this bed with petals of roses

Laid down here tonight for us

Romances from the lost kingdom

Of love in its purest endowment

Let's make our beds in the ice tonight

The gentle breeze is here again

And we are quickened to arise

Let me be your duvet and cover you

From the snowing weather tonight

That it brings no frosts to thine skin

Kisses as warm as an ice defroster

Keeping you warm in the cold weather

You are a darling my queen

I have waited for these years to come

And it had arrived with cold and snow

But I had made my cloak your duvet

Covering your skin from the merciless cold

Never allowing it to have a taste of your skin

Kisses as gently and warm

Till the morning comes

Let's make our beds in love that never ends
