"Hope" by Mary Grace van der Kroef

To hold you

feel the weight,

weight of what lies beyond my fate.

To know you

as mass and not a dream.

As something to cling to.

Then you,

would cease to be hope.

Someday to see,

believing it will be,

defined by what I can not see.

One of the remaining three...

So you cling to me,

invisible.

Close sureness I can not grasp.

still,

Forever shining on my path.

Revealing a future.
