A Hymn of Reflection by Olatubosun David

When at last I shall sail
Away from this turbulent sea
I shall leave the crumbling tent by the shore

When my toil now is done
And forever I rest
When the storm is over
I shall forever sing melodies

We sail against the wind
The wavy tide of roaring sea
Tossing us up and down, defying our faith

Jointly our foes gather
Like the swamp of the locust pests
But our God, mighty in battle - our help!

Onward! We shall not faint
Ahead of us, victory is sure
Christ’s for us! Nothing against us can stand

With delight shall we sing
Farewell, world of pains and peril
In the glorious morning that we shall meet.
