From Where it Comes

I scream at the mountains
Receiving nothing in reply,
I cry to the river
And it passes without comfort,
I shout to the stars
And they are silent to my plea,
I sit with the flowers
But their petals offer no advice,
I whisper His name
And He's already there.

In the Always

She wished that she could go
Back in time,
And recognize the moments
Where He watched her,
Where He held her,
Where He smiled at her,
All the moments that she thought
No one was paying attention,
The moments she kept hidden
From the world,
What would she have done then,
Had she only realized,
That even when no one else was there,
He was,
He always was,
And He always would be.
