Change Comes in Burning Moonlight by Camille Boudreau

This fledgeling knowledge,

half taken wing

run your fingers over the feathers

find flaw or find fealty

for it’s much easier to bring dust,

grind your mortar and pestle

grind your teeth to the gristle,

then to breathe life into the weak

the half dead

to heal what resists

to unfurl clenched fists

My name is Camille Boudreau. I’m a writer with a degree in English literature with an emphasis in poetry from UCLA. I’m 23 years old and have been a believer since I was very small. However, recently, I’ve felt my relationship with Jesus grow and change into something far more deep and beautiful and my writing has developed along with it.
