Boundless Love by Ann-Marie Ferry

Peace, O my soul

When the days are cold and dark

Calm, O my soul

Breath the pain in and out your heart

Throw this adult facade

To the whistling wind

And fly down the path

On child's feet again

Cold earth and leaves

Below bounding feet

Fling yourself over the edge without care

Catching hold of the roots of the old oak tree

And. Go. Down.

Down to where your souls at home

In the creek

Where your souls at home

Where the water dances with the light and sings

There you can breathe in tranquil peace

Sing, O my soul

In the cool ravine

Alone with your God

Among the trees

At home with your God

Who cares for thee

Toes squishing in the mud

Fingers dancing like a skeeter on the waters clear

You, my soul, are a child of God

Breath in, my soul, his boundless love
