"The Song of Salvation" by Tristesse Genevieve

Photo by Tristesse Genevieve

The song of salvation my heart sings,

for I was lost and unseen.

I had no idea what I was seeking,

where my path was leading;

But then, the song of salvation rang,

and for the first time, I knew which path to take,

that which is called narrow and straight;

the only path that is led by a Shepherd

who knows us by name,

who willingly laid down his life

so we could be saved.

With joy, this new song my heart sings,

because I am no longer lost,

but I have been redeemed.
