Will you deny the Lord

When the waves of pain hit you hard? 

Will you show him the door

When life may seem to turn topsy-turvy? 

Will you turn your back to him

When strife you may face, for your faith? 

Can you reach the eternal shore without the Lord 

Where tears and sorrows are no more? 

The Lord is by your side

In the toughest storm and in calm waters. 

Whatever may be, in thick or thin

He will never leave your side at any time. 

Never will there be a day, to say the Lord has failed

When you walk with him hand in hand. 

Dr. Irene Surya has published a book of poems, In Solitude with God. Her poems have been published in various magazines. She loves to meditate on God and has a passion for writing for the Lord. She loves to express her meditative thoughts as a poem and glorify the Lord through her writing. She loves and serves the Lord with her husband. Her husband along with his secular job is in the leadership of a local church in India.
