September Angel by Gail Davidson

One single moment
gave you life,
more delicate than the morning glory.

One single moment
brought you heaven,
its trumpets sounding and bells ringing
to herald your arrival.

I pray
that in the moment
which brings me heaven--
you and I will embrace,
barefoot amongst the flowers,
and dance in time to the music.
