Midnight Piano by Jason Visconti

The moon begins to swell and the scales are real,

Allow the stars to float backwards like musical notes,

A symphony sweeps through constellations from movement to movement you'll tell,

Luminous planets are what the composer wrote,

The player sits square in the theater and howls well.

I have attended both group and private poetry workshops. My work has appeared in various journals, including "Eunoia Review," "Valley Voices," "California Quartely," "Literary Yard," and "The American Journal Of Poetry." I especially enjoy the poetry of Pablo Neruda and Billy Collins.
