Longing for The Lord by Lisel Soria

Sing to me your song every night

and whisper from the moon.

Meet me in the mornings

with my face caught up in dawn.

How little I grasp,

only ever knowing you

by your pursuit.

A tenacious love,

unfathomable words my soul

could ever write about.

My name is Lisel Soria, I am twenty-seven years old and currently a single woman who is pursuing the Lord and getting to know Him through writing and all of God’s gifts in life. I have been writing for over five years now and have discovered God’s plans for me and the transformation He has been doing in my heart. My family and friends are my priority; building relationships is what I am passionate about. I love dancing, kickboxing, traveling, reading, and writing. Apart from writing I am a teacher to eleven students at a Christian Pre-school and teaching the word of God has been such a blessing and humbling experience. I hope my poetry brings women comfort in knowing that they are not alone in their beliefs, thoughts, and actions. To be bold and honest with confidence when they come unto the presence of the Lord with their hearts. This is a journey where we are all holding onto the Lord’s hands, finding joy, bringing all the praise to Him, and falling in love with Him deeper every day.
