Joy in Truth by Joyce Isenbarger
Oh, what joy we have in truth,
What joy we have in peace,
What joy we have in hope.
Joyful truth will never fade away,
Even in very troubled times.
The Word of Christ forever chimes
In faithful hearts from day to day.
Joyful peace can live within all of us
With righteous living and Christian love,
Seeking heavenly guidance from above
Through steadfast prayer and thankfulness.
Joyful hope is abundant in believing
And confident in expectation of things to come,
Knowing there is an eternal home
If keeping God’s Word we are striving.
Joyce Isenbarger has been a faithful Christian for over 40 years, having taught Bible classes for all ages. Joyce has been married to her college sweetheart (now a retired Navy Captain) for 50 years, has lived in nine states, and currently resides in Texas. Joyce enjoys spending time with her 2 children and 5 grandchildren. She volunteers her time to the local Assistance League Thrift Shop and regularly posts scripture along with her original fine art and photography to an Instagram account.
