Talking about myself can be almost as intimidating as a ‘self-portrait’. But here we go …

First and foremost, I am me … Carolyn … I love photography and pretty much all things creative. I love Jesus and plan to spend eternity with Him. I am married to Jim and we have 3 beautiful daughters and nine grandchildren. My photography business is Sixteen Miles Out. I am a still-life photographer who also shoots portraits. Still life photography is such a great outlet for creative photography and is something I can do right in my own home.

We live about 16 miles from the nearest town where you might find shopping and all the normal town things. My little town has just a post office, a church, fire department, a little country store and actually two places to eat!

Currently, I spend the bulk of my days watching my five-year-old grandson and squeeze everything else in between.
