Circle of Gratitude by Stephanie Salinas

Priscilla Du Preez

Family and friends
together for Thanksgiving

Sharing love, laughter, and joy
Prayers and hugs
grateful to God for life

Saying Amen

A thousand times over again

Smiles and tears
spreading God’s kindness

Burdens lifted

Heartfelt thanks

A circle of gratitude
God holding us together again

Stephanie Salinas was born in Texas, but her family moved to North Carolina in the late 1980s and she continues to call North Carolina her home. She holds a BS in Criminal Justice with a minor in Community & Justice Studies from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC. Faith, family, and friends – are very important to Stephanie. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends in the countryside where she finds inspiration to write. Poetry has always been her creative outlet since she was a teenager. She aspires to be a supportive and encouraging woman of God through her words and creativity.
