All Is Holy by Stephen R. Clark

The skies threaten snow
but it is an idle threat.
No snow falls, only the wind blows
cold and sharp, the day gray
and weighted with heavy,
lying clouds.
The mood is melancholic, sweet
sadness crisping the air,
something to bundle up against,
to seek comfort from.
We cuddle together under the throw
and search for what to watch on TV,
chatting lightly, sharing a snack,
sipping hot beverages, we sink into
each other, are warmed, are
whole, are home, are His.
