He is also the author of two studies of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's poetry: The Heroines of Henry Longfellow: Domestic, Defiant, Divine (2022), and Glimpses of Her Father's Glory: Deification and Divine Light in Longfellow's Evangeline (2019).
